Key Messaging:
Jamaica is thriving. Visitation set a record in 2023 with more than 4 million visitors and the island is on pace to top that figure in 2024 with more than 2 million arrivals already in the first four months of the year.
The Jamaica Tourist Board and its hotel partners are saying thank you to visitors with a fantastic special offer of up to 65% off at more than 50 participating hotels and resorts across the island.
The key to Jamaica’s success is the Jamaican people themselves. Known for their friendly nature and innate sense of hospitality, Jamaicans embody the spirit of “Out of many, one people.” This spirit of hospitality is one of the reasons Jamaica enjoys an unmatched repeat visitor rate of 42%,
Unlike many, Jamaica is multiple destinations in one. Jamaica offers an array of vibrant and family friendly destinations well-suited to all types of travelers. Montego Bay is a kaleidoscope of culture, featuring destination dining, outdoor adventure, electric bars and clubs. Ocho Rios is home to all-inclusive family resorts, the adventure park Mystic Mountain, and the majestic Dunn’s River waterfall. Negril is the epitome of relaxation. The island’s westernmost town is a haven for beach lovers, famous for beautiful sunsets, a 7-mile stretch of beach, and picturesque cliffs overlooking the azure, blue waters. On the island’s tranquil South Coast, visitors are poised to unwind on charming Treasure Beach or glimpse the island’s storied history in Port Antonio, dubbed “heaven on earth” by James Bond novelist Ian Fleming. And, of course, Kingston is the island’s capital and center of cultural heritage.
There are amazing events coming up ahead for Jamaica. Reggae Sumfest in Montego Bay will be held this year from July 14-20. It is the most anticipated concert in Jamaica and the largest Reggae festival in the world. Some of the top artists from across the globe have graced the Sumfest stage and this year we are pleased to note that Babyface will be among the performers along with Beres Hammond and many others. There are also beach parties and more so it’s truly not to be missed, especially for music lovers. And beyond music, come for the food! In the fall we’ll have the Jamaica Food and Drink Festival from November 7-10.
There truly is something for everyone in Jamaica whether it be romancers, families, culture seekers, adventurers or foodies. Come feel the vibe that comes alive in Jamaica!
